Meet SEC America

SEC America designs and engineers specialty power conversion and battery backup products. One of their core products is a pellet stove battery backup for homeowners called Stove Sentry. The Stove Sentry solves a problem for homeowners while helping SEC’s distributors add valuable merchandise to their inventories.

Though this is a niche product, it is highly searched online. Despite being a leader in this space, SEC America didn’t have an online presence around this topic. SEC wanted to generate homeowner demand for its pellet stove battery backups to increase orders from distributors. To do this, they knew they needed to educate consumers about the dangers of losing power to a pellet stove.

What wasn’t working

  • The SEC America website had no content to attract, educate, and help homeowners with this problem
  • The website was not ranking on the first page of search engine results for related keywords or even its own branded products

Here is what we did

First, we created a downloadable eBook called “The Dangers of Losing Power to Your Pellet Stove.” We gated this content offer with a landing page so we could generate leads and continue to educate and nurture them. Then, we wrote SEO-driven blog articles with the goal of attracting website traffic. Each blog article contained a call-to-action for viewers to download the eBook.

Using evergreen content to generate ongoing awareness
