Position overview:

This is a Senior Marketing consultant position based in Burlington VT

The Marketing Strategist works closely with clients creating the vision and strategy while managing all activities required to meet the client’s goals and objectives.

You play a lead role in executing inbound and content marketing that includes blogging, social media, marketing, SEO, and marketing automation while leading client communication and education. You’ll be responsible for analyzing your client’s marketing analytics, creating reports, and recommending future strategies and tactics. You work closely with your team of consultants, copywriters, designers, and developers to execute that strategy for each sprint cycle.

You’re the liaison between your clients and Delta Marketing as their trusted consultant, marketing expert, advisor helping them reach their goals.

You’ll have a seat at the table where your ideas are valued, and you have the opportunity to contribute to the growth of our agency and your personal growth.

In this role, you will:

  • Create the vision and strategy for your Client’s marketing sprints working with your team of consultants, copywriters, designers, and developers to execute that strategy for each sprint cycle.
  • Create new clients Strategic Growth Plans collaborating with your team interviewing clients, conducting research, and creating the plan.
  • Become the in-house expert in each of your clients’ business and industry.
  • Develop and execute new Client’s onboarding schedules and HubSpot setup.
  • Plan and contribute to the Client’s internal content development.
  • Manage all communication, campaign timelines, project management, and education for your assigned accounts.
  • Deploy tactics to execute required digital marketing services that may include blogging, ebook/white paper/video content creation, social media marketing, search engine optimization, website updates, email marketing, paid advertising management, and others to achieve your Client’s benchmarks for traffic, leads, qualified leads, and sales.
  • Execute your Clients’ digital marketing plans proactively to meet schedules, performance, and budget goals.
  • Create monthly analytic reports to show opportunities, trends, and successes for each Client and make recommendations for their next sprint.
  • Assist and empower clients with the results, knowledge, content, and tools to get their buy-in to evangelize their success through their organization.
  • Become an inbound marketing expert executing tactics including blogging, social media marketing, search engine optimization, eBook/white paper/video content creation, website updates, email marketing, and more.
  • Become a HubSpot expert keeping up with software updates and best practices, educating your teammates as required.
  • Retain clients by developing strong relationships, delivering remarkable service, and proving ROI.
  • Contribute to Delta Marketing’s blog and social media presence.


  • 5 years of marketing experience, with experience building and executing digital marketing campaigns.
  • B.A. or B.S. degree.
  • Hands-on experience with HubSpot required.
  • Inbound and HubSpot marketing certifications.
  • Demonstrated ability to think creatively and create campaigns based on customer requirements.
  • Track record of building results-focused marketing campaigns that yield results.
  • Proven relationship-building skills and client communication experience.
  • Ability to research and synthesize customer data, into marketing strategies.
  • Excellent writing skills and a strong understanding of how to write SEO-friendly content.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and communicate through obstacles.
  • Strong understanding of all social media platforms.
  • Working knowledge of email marketing best practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Proficiency in blogging platforms such as a Wordpress and HubSpot
  • Desire to learn on your own and keep up with inbound marketing and Internet marketing developments and best practices.
  • Motivated to grow as a person and sales professional.
  • A positive attitude in all they do.
