Position overview:

The Account Manager serves as the primary contact for the client during the sales process. Responsible for supporting and managing a diverse range of existing accounts and growing sales in your existing accounts. Accountable for managing and nurturing Inbound leads into new customers.

Responsible for producing pricing information, quotes, and creative, high-quality presentations resulting in client purchases and strengthening client relationships. Works in tandem with the creative and production teams to ensure client satisfaction and on-time delivery of products.

In this role you will:

  • Proactively increasing sales by reactivating previous customers within assigned accounts.
  • Manage and respond to assigned inbound leads via phone, email, and chat.
  • Assist existing clients with current and future projects.
  • Responsible for sourcing products, quoting, and presentations resulting in client purchases.
  • Work in tandem with suppliers, art department, production, accounting, etc. to ensure client satisfaction and on-time delivery of products.
  • Have a strong understanding and comfort with ERP and CRM systems (HubSpot, Drift, Commonsku, etc.)
  • Be genuine and transparent. Despite our best efforts, sometimes things go wrong and we have to embrace that inevitability.
  • The ability to work independently and in a group setting.
  • Be proactive with your clients. Show them you really care by keeping an eye out for their aesthetic/brand and proactively send them ideas, virtual, and samples.
  • Have a keen eye for the latest trends, fashion, and up-and-coming retail brands.
  • Contribute to the onboarding and training of support personnel as required.

Requirements:

  • B.A. or B.S. degree.
  • Minimum 2-5 years of experience with business-to-business inside sales, preferably within the promotional products industry.
  • Attention to detail and expert organizational skills.
  • Tenacious ability to hit deadlines and meet commitments.
  • Demonstrated selling skills and achievement of sales goals
  • Amazing communication skills, outstanding writing skills, and superb listening skills.
  • Self-starter and results-oriented
  • Excellent presentation skills.
  • Strong relationship building skills
  • An innate, curious drive to solve problems.
  • Proficiency in web-based applications.
    The ability to research products and translate them into client presentations and orders.
