Position overview:

This is a Burlington VT based position

The Account Manager serves as the primary contact for the client during the sales process. Responsible for supporting and managing a diverse range of existing house-accounts and expanding our existing customer base. Accountable for managing and nurturing Inbound leads into new customers primarily through online chat.

Responsible for producing pricing information, quotes, and creative, high-quality presentations resulting in client purchases and strengthens client relationships. Works in tandem with the creative and production teams to ensure client satisfaction and on-time delivery of products.

In this role you will:

  • Manage and respond to inbound leads via phone, email, and website chat.
  • Proactively increasing sales by reactivating previous customers within assigned accounts.
  • Assist existing clients with their products, events, and kitting needs. Don’t worry – we don’t need you making cold calls or prospecting.
  • Responsible for sourcing products, quoting, and presentations resulting in client purchases.
  • Work in tandem with suppliers, art department, production, accounting, etc. to ensure client satisfaction and on-time delivery of products.
  • A strong understanding and comfort with ERP and CRM systems (HubSpot, Drift, Commonsku, etc.)
  • Be genuine and transparent. Despite our best efforts, sometimes things go wrong and we have to embrace that inevitability.
  • The ability to work independently and in a group setting.
  • Be proactive with your clients. Show them you really care by keeping an eye out for their aesthetic/brand and proactively send them ideas, virtual, and samples.
  • Have a keen eye for the latest trends, fashion, and up-and-coming retail brands.
  • Contribute to the onboarding and training of support personnel as required.

Requirements:

  • B.A. or B.S. degree.
  • Minimum 2-5 years of experience with business-to-business inside sales, preferably within the promotional products industry
  • Amazing communication skills, outstanding writing skills, and superb listening skills.
  • Demonstrated selling skills and achievement of sales goals.
  • Self-starter and results-oriented
  • Excellent presentation skills.
  • Strong relationship building skills
  • Expert organization skills and attention to detail.
  • An innate, curious drive to solve problems.
