Position Overview

As a Brand Account Coordinator at Delta Marketing, you use your critical listening and problem-solving skills to provide sales support for assigned Account Managers to help them grow sales within their book of business and work with new leads and prospects. You will be working closely with Account Managers, focused on helping customers find promotional products that will activate their brands.

In this role, you will:

Pre-Sale

  • Participate in client calls and meetings with AM as requested.
  • Source products and create presentations.
  • Build client presentations and sales orders.
  • Ensure production artwork meets vendor guidelines.
  • Coordinate artwork with creative.
  • Place and track sample orders through to client delivery.

Production (Majority Of The Time)

  • Enter and track new orders
  • Contact factory to ensure that P.O. has been received.
  • Crosscheck vendor acknowledgments against DMG PO to ensure pricing, shipping information, and decoration description match up.
  • Receive the art proof from the vendor, ensure it is correct and email it to the client..
  • Notify the factory of client approval or client request for revisions.
  • Obtain shipping date and notify the client of the shipping date.
  • Maintain contact with the factory regarding the order, for address changes, changes with delivery dates, etc.
  • Share tracking information with the client; confirm delivery
  • Update order details and bill notes throughout production to ensure that the order is as accurate as possible in the system.
  • Notify AM of any problems or issues with the order.

Post-sale

  • Assign tracking numbers to order via tracking tab or bill notes.
  • Verify the accuracy of billing for each order, callout any changes during the process, and flag anything that might become an issue (e.g., high freight).
  • Coordinate with Vendor as needed (Accounts Payable, Billing, Accounts Receivable, etc.) on client accounts (billing, invoice copies, shipment details, etc.).
  • Maintain regular communication with AM with open order status reporting.
  • Facilitate return authorizations (R.A.'s).

Office Participation

  • Attend vendor meetings as schedule permits.
  • Support fellow AM's during times of high volume.
  • Assist with general office duties as needed per assignment from office. 
  • Maintain a positive and upbeat attitude with all team members in the office.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or prior sales or customer service experience.
  • Proven ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment; think critically; manage multiple priorities and adhere to strict deadlines.
  • Possess superior customer service skills.
  • Have an innate, curious drive to solve problems.
  • Must be highly detail-oriented and very organized with the ability to adapt to a changing environment while following tasks through to completion
  • Self-motivated, process-driven, ready to take action, use good judgment, and willing to help others.
  • Amazing communication skills, outstanding writing skills, and superb listening skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
