Graphic Design Intern

Position overview:

Interns at DMG make a difference.

As an intern at DMG, you’ll work on real projects for our agency and our clients. You’re an integrated member of our team. You can join us for our family-style Friday breakfasts—and you won’t be asked to go on coffee runs. You’ll learn from and work alongside experienced professionals, gain the experience of an agency setting, and contribute your fresh ideas and insights.

This is a paid internship and requires a 3-month commitment. 10 – 15 hours per week at our South Burlington, Vermont office.

In this role, you will:

  • Create artwork, virtual comps and finished artwork for promotional products.
  • Produce images for websites, digital advertising, social media, and other channels.
  • Collaborate with the senior design team to update the DMG portfolio and rebrand marketing resources.
  • Photograph DMG team, events, products, etc. for use on our website and social media.
  • Complete special projects as needed.

A good candidate will have:

  • 2-3 years of education completed and current enrollment in a collegiate level Graphic Design program, or recent graduate.
  • Strong graphic design skills including Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop/InDesign.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and take guidance from senior members of the team.
  • A level of comfort with frequently shifting priorities and good time management skills.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate effectively both verbally and in written form and build relationships quickly.
