Position Overview

The Client Services Manager is a pivotal position within Delta’s organization and is responsible for driving client success in digital marketing programs beginning with strategy and centered around an inbound methodology. Lead generation tactics that include inbound marketing, demand generation, paid media, email marketing, social media website development, HubSpot utilization, and data analytics reporting.

To do this, the Client Services Manager must be able to establish effective communications and strong relationships with external and internal teams, while using analytical skills and creative problem-solving to proactively solve complex online marketing problems and exceed client objectives.

In this role, you will:

  • Account Management

    • Manages the marketing services team to ensure high-quality deliverables and customer satisfaction.
    • Assumes accountability and ownership of digital marketing program successes and failures for client accounts in a team environment.
    • Works with Marketing Consultants to create and execute digital marketing strategies and plans for each client.
    • Interfaces with other departments lead to sharing ideas, communicating service offerings, and identifying and delivering new solutions for clients.
    • Establishes themselves and the agency as trusted partners in digital marketing to agency clients.
    • Understands inbound marketing best practices and articulates knowledge effectively.
    • Provides thought leadership to clients across a range of online marketing topics.
    • Effectively creates and delivers client presentations.
    • Commands data analysis of key metrics to identify, recommend, and implement changes to increase client programs' performance.
    • Manages budgeting, capacity, and utilization to ensure new business can be placed and workloads are even to ensure all teams are effectively utilizing their capabilities.
    • Facilitate new client onboarding programming to stay on schedule and budget.
    • Establishes themselves as the HubSpot main point of contact and the agencies foremost HubSpot expert.
    • Keeps the leadership team apprised of key client opportunities, potential risks, and other key nuances that affect the health of the business.

    Content / Project Management

    • Act as Content Manager, responsible for overseeing the content schedule, outsourcing client and agency content, and act as the first-pass editor to provide writers with grammar corrections before delivering content to consultants or specialists for final edits. 
    • Directs and manages all client digital marketing programs' daily workflow, including the initiation and management of projects in our project management system.
    • Understands Agile and runs weekly Scrum meetings with the internal digital team to execute each client's digital marketing strategies and plans.
    • Reviews deliverables for quality and ensures that recommendations and work are sound and viable.
    • Ensures client budgets and deadlines are met.
    • Manage new website projects from planning to launch.


  • 4+ years of experience building comprehensive digital marketing campaigns.
  • 3+ years of account management, marketing project management, process improvement.
  • Demonstrated experience with Hubspot and HubSpot certifications.
  • Excellent writing skills and a strong understanding of how to write SEO-friendly content.
  • Demonstrated problem solving and project management skills.
  • Proven relationship-building skills and client communication experience.
  • Ability to research and synthesize customer data, into marketing strategies.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and communicate through obstacles.
  • Desire to learn on your own and keep up with inbound marketing and Internet marketing developments and best practices.
  • Familiarity with Scrum and Agile.
  • Experience with website development best practices.
  • Desire to learn on your own and keep up with inbound marketing and Internet marketing.
